Welcome to the Homepage of the BIR

We are a non profit 501(c)(3) video news production company dedicated to offering affordable coverage of overlooked international news stories to American news providers - and hence the underserved American public.

The BIR strives to examine issues and places that often remain unreported because of the constraints of the modern US news market.  Our model is to use new technology and streamlined production to efficiently yet thoroughly cover stories that otherwise would remain untold.

Our co-executive directors have a combined 30 years experience in network television news and have worked for ABC, CBS, CNN, PBS, Discovery, CBC and the New York Times.  They have reported from over 25 countries worldwide.

Please see our donate page to help support our work.

Thank you for your interest.
